Built by Telgrit, The Bellevue Hill Residence is a striking example of natural stone used with restraint and purpose. Located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, this contemporary home balances clean architectural lines with luxurious, high-performance materials. STS Stone supplied both Antarctic White Dolomite and Snow White Marble to elevate key spaces throughout the residence.
The design team selected Antarctic White Dolomite for the kitchen and main living zones. Its subtle grey movement and cool white base brought texture and tonal variation without overpowering the clean aesthetic. As a natural dolomite, it offers greater hardness than traditional marble, an important feature for high-use surfaces like benchtops and splashbacks.
In contrast, Snow White Marble was used in the bathroom areas, where its warm base and soft, consistent veining introduced a sense of calm and understated luxury. The stone’s refined appearance complemented the soft lighting and minimalist fittings, resulting in a cohesive and serene interior.
STS Stone worked closely with the design and construction teams to ensure the selected slabs matched in tone, movement, and finish. The result is a home that feels consistent and highly considered, with every stone surface contributing to the architectural intent.
Both stones were fabricated and installed with precision, allowing the natural patterns to flow seamlessly across surfaces. This attention to detail enhanced the tactile and visual qualities of each space.
